The book is really boring at first but during chapter 3-13 so far it's a really interesting book to read. I always ask my teacher to read the next chapter but I got to wait, I recommend this book because, Judd Traver's has a new hunting dog and he treats it badly. Marty finds Shiloh and hides Shiloh away from Judd Traver's and Marty lies to Judd Traver's that he hasn't seen his dog, Shiloh gets cut open and hurt by a German Sheppard and Marty brings Shiloh to Doc Murphy and Marty thinks doc told Judd Traver's 0n Marty that they has the dog...

What I Think will Happen Shiloh

What I think will happen in the end of the book is that Judd will think about selling Shiloh to the Preston family then he will be like no way they don't deserve him they hid him from me and then got him all ripped up by the German Sheppard. I also think ma will keep raising the price for Shiloh. Judd will turn his head and take Shiloh then he will abuse him all over again this time Marty goes to Judd's house and tries to sneak Shiloh away. But just as he let him free Judd came up the road in his pickup and spotted Marty. He's in a big mess now. Judd wants to take Marty right to court. But then he feels Shiloh isn't a very good hunting dog so he makes an offer of $50

ma can't afford it but after 2 weeks they get $45 Judd makes and offer that they can have him for that much. When Marty goes to pick up Shiloh he's not there, not him not anyone. None of the dogs either. Judd had tricked the Preston family and now he has disappeared with Shiloh. Shiloh is gone for good.

A couple of days ago we read a book that was called Shiloh. It's an awesome book! Today Miss told us that we had to write about our favorite part. My favorite part was when Marty's Dad let Shiloh say in the house, that made me so happy. I know that Shiloh would have a good home with Marty and he wouldn't get hurt by Judd Travers. If I was Shiloh and lived with Judd I would fell hurt because Judd hurts his dogs. If I was Shiloh and was brought back to Judd I would get off the leash and never come back. I would want to live with Marty.

My less favorite part was when Shiloh got sick and Marty had to call the vet and Shiloh almost died. My heart started pumping, I was so sad for Marty and Shiloh. If I was Marty I would be so happy that Judd let him keep Shiloh for 1or 2 days. I really like this book because it teaches people to take care of their pets.

My favorite part in Shiloh so far is when Marty finds Shiloh by the old Shiloh school house.Marty tried everything to get that dog to come to him like by calling him,here boy but he didn't come so Marty tried here girl but the dog didn't come,he tried throwing sticks rocks everything but Shiloh wouldn't come to him so Marty thought and thought and thought then finally he got it Marty whistled to Shiloh and he came running.little did Marty know that the dog belonged to the meanest man in the town Shiloh....Judd Travers.Marty didn't find till one day Judd came to their house and asked did they see a beagle.Marty knew that Shiloh was a beagle so he said he didn't tell Judd that he had him. Marty kept Shiloh a secret from his mom and dad and everyday Marty kept getting closer and closer to Shiloh till one day ...............................

During language Arts we have been reading Shiloh by Phyllis Reinalds Naylor.So far this novel has been a real adventure.Shiloh is about a boy named Marty Preston in a small town and one day around the Shiloh school he spot a beagle along the side of the road and the dog followed him home.When he tells his Ma and Pa that the beagle was following him Pa says it might be Judd Travers beagle that he just bought.The next day they bring the beagle to Judd Travers and he kicks the beagle and tells him to go inside and they go home.The next day Marty finds the beagle outside of his home and brings him home again. But Marty gets so attached he names him Shiloh .But the next time he comes Marty keeps him a secret then builds a pen up on the hill over his house and secretly feeds him every day for the next week.But one day while Shiloh and Marty were playing up along the hill and Ma sees them and says "we got ourselves a little secret" so Marty knew that Ma wasn't going to tell and he keeps Shiloh up on the hill. While he was sleeping he heard yelping and ran up the hill with Pa and saw Bakers German Sheppard with blood on his claws and mouth standing over Shiloh who had A gash in his leg and a piece took out of his ear.So Marty and Pa takes Shiloh to the doc Murphy and keeps him there over night to see if he'll live through the night.The next day Shiloh comes home with stitches in his ear and leg.They make a box for him and puts a pillow inside and puts Shiloh in after a while they hear a knock on the door and Judd Travers comes in and sees his dog.Pa said that Marty would pay for the bill and he will keep him there if he needs anymore care.Ma offers to buy Shiloh from Judd but he says "no this dogs not for sale" then walks out of the house. I do not recommend this book for younger kids because it can get Graphic in one or two chapters. I'd rate this book ***** stars because it teaches about loyalty and friendship.

What I would like to see happen in the book shiloh is that if Marty and Judd Travers could turn in to best friends and go for walks with all of his awesome dogs. I could take shiloh and he could take all of the other dogs because shiloh would be my first pet and it would be my magical dog it would be so fun to spend time together and I mean fun magical fun. If I had to keep shiloh it would be my wish and when I would wake up in the morning I would get water and food for him before Beckey and Dara-Lynn could tell ma and pa that I had shiloh over here. Before when ma and my family ever knew I had shiloh it was a secret and it was also a lye I also don't like to lye but I just had to so now I know I done wrong and I got to pay for it all over again. "its not fun when you got to pay for it"!. But thats it I got to try better next time when something like that happens.Also when that happen with Baker's dog and my wish Shiloh I though he was dead and gone to heaven its not a very nice feeling.When i grow up to be a man and if I see a hurt dog I will cry and think about Shiloh. But I was very glad that dad and I went to doc Murphys vet place where he helps alot of dogs he had to fix and help Shiloh ear I was so happy when I saw Shiloh coming back I almost cryed it was so happy.Now thats all I hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shiloh

We are reading a great book it's called Shiloh. What i like about the book Shiloh is it has great detail of what it's trying to say, You could do personal relation to the book, and has Lot's of emotion. What I mean by personal relation you could relate it to you or some one you know because if you relate it to yourself you would try to say if what you really want but you can't get it. In the book "Shiloh" Marty Preston finds a dog up in the hills one day when when out practicing shooting, he calls it Shiloh when he brought it home his dad told Marty this was Judd Travers hunting dog. Judd Travers is a animal abuser, and hunts deer out of season. So when Marty and his dad went to Judd Travers to bring Shiloh back as soon as Shiloh went in Judd kicked him really hard. When Marty went up in the hills again one day he found Shiloh again. This time Marty got supplies to build a pen for Shiloh. But a week later they had to bring him to Doc Murphy's because he had lots of wounds from the Bakers German Sheppard. So then one night Judd came to the Preston house and was really angry because some one told him that the Preston's have the dog. So the parents were going to give Judd an offer but Judd said" He's not for sale" in a angry voice but Judd let the Preston's keep him until Shiloh heals from his cuts and wounds.
