Love You Forever (written by Robert Munsch)

I read a book called Love You Forever, written by Robert Munsch. It is about a mother holding her new born baby boy in her arms and rocking him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. When she held him she sang: "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be". When the baby grew until he was 2 years old, he ran all around the house and he pulled the books out of the shelves, pulled all the food out of the refrigerator and he even took his mother's watch and flushed it down the toilet. Sometimes his mother said "This kid is driving me CRAZY". But every night when the boy was asleep she would crawl across the floor and look up to see if he was asleep she would pick him up and rock him back and forth, back and forth and she would sing: "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be". She continued that until he was a big man and every night that mother would drive across town and pick that big man and rock him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. One day the mother called his son and said 'you should come and see me because I'm very sick so the son drove across town to see his mother and when he got there the mother tried to sing: "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always,..... But she couldn't finish because she was to old and to sick. So the son picked up is sick and old mother and he sang: "I'll love you forever,I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my mommy you'll be". When the son got back to his house across town he stood for a long time at the top of the stair's. When he went into the bedroom he picked up his new born baby girl and slowly rocked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth and while he rocked her he sang: "I'll love you forever,I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be".

This is my favorite book because when I was a little girl my Mom would read this story to me.
