In class we have a book study. Our book study is on a book called Shiloh. We haven't finished the story yet, but we are getting there. So far a lot has happened. Marty has a dog follow him home. Marty tries many different ways to get Shiloh to come to him but it didn't work the first couple of times. Marty got Shiloh to come to him by whistling. The first couple times Marty couldn't get Shiloh to come to him. Marty thought that it was a her so he said "here girl". But the dog still didn't come to Marty. Marty whistled to the dog. The dog came running right for Marty. Marty told the dog to go home after playing with it for a while. But the dog didn't go home and the dog started to follow Marty. So the dog followed him and Marty tried to sneak out food. His mom saw the dog and so his father took him and the dog to Judd Travers. Judd Travers hunts out of season and abuses his dogs.Marty also decided to name him after the Shiloh school house. Marty knows this so he doesn't want Judd to have the dog. It's a very good book and I love the book a lot. I find that Shiloh is a good book for children. It shows how much someone would go through to have a dog. I would recommend this book because it's very nice and it is very important to all dog and animal lovers. My absolute favourite part was when Marty's family found out because of all they do for the dog.
